DIY Gift Idea - Easy Wall Art

 

Guys, this was so simple and defiantly give me the appearance of having spent more time + money than I actually did.

So manly. So fun.

I found the prints over at Primer Magazine, but I'm pretty sure someone just Googled "patent prints" and then inverted the colors.  So if those aren't your style, try looking up some other things. Google has everything.  They suggested making bigger prints, but I just printed them out on regular computer paper and used the highest quality print.

Then off to IKEA for some Ribba frames in medium brown.

I used tape to make sure the  prints stayed where I wanted them too, and poof.... classy wall art.

I'm a newly wed and a southern girl. Needless to say, I love me some monograms.

The Tree Is UP!!

The Christmas tree is official up!

 

I ended up getting rid of our old traditional Christmas lights in favor of some more retro looking ones like these at Target.

 

 

All in all, I think I got pretty close to my inspiration (check out that post here).
